Clinton Global Initiative Meeting Inspirational!
by Robert Fortunato on June 15th, 2013 No Comments

We were honored to be invited to share perspectives at the 2013 Clinton Global Initiative America (CGI America) meeting inChicagothis past week.  The meeting was hosted by President Bill Clinton, Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and Clinton Foundation Board Member Chelsea Clinton.

More than 1,000 people attended the meeting and to hear their stories of service to the causes of social justice, economic opportunity and the environment was absolutely inspiring.

It was also an honor to be asked to facilitate our working group discussion.  The very talented members of my group came forward with commitments to action that we will all be proud to support.  I’ll look forward to seeing them come to fruition in the coming weeks and months.

The meeting also gave me an opportunity to share the Green Idea House story and see what opportunities there are to work with others to be of service in scaling the ideas our community has brought forward.

More to come!

P.S. If you are interested in learning more about the back-story of CGI, the President’s book “Sharing” is a fascinating and humbling read.
